mothers day weekend was a busy one at the mott house! we had tims law graduation on friday, his bbq party on saturday and mauers blessing on sunday!
graduation was epically special because tim was the student speaker. im pretty sure i was more nervous than he was. there was no need- he did awesome! the crowd laughed at all the right times, even when he quoted snooki. after graduation was over he had about 10 different people come and shake his hand just because they wanted to meet him. one lady even said she had to introduce herself and shake his hand so when he is president she could say she was in the crowd at his law graduation and even got to meet him- she was so sweet. tim was also awarded a couple awards. he received the William S. Boyd Outstanding Graduate Award, which recognizes scholastic achievement, overall leadership and contribution to the law school community and the Scribes award which recognizes excellence in legal writing. On top of all that he graduated Magna Cum Laude. i am so proud of how well tim did in school. between classes, the law journal, mediation, his church calling, mauer and I- he never really complained. there were more nights than i can count that he didnt go to be before 2am. now graduation is over but studying for the bar exam has already started. i cant wait for the month of august. he is taking the month off so we can travel and spend some time together before he starts work!
