shes just a small town girl.

it is quite possible that i will never be a small town girl again. im ok with this, although i prefer the fresh air, friendly neighbors, lack of stop lights, and a much slower pace. i know that these things do not actually make me happy. this on the other hand does:

isnt it charming? i dream of sitting on the porch swing, sipping lemonaide and waving to bypassers walking their dog. you can do this in the city, right? i will fill it with rowdy children, lots of love and all things old. i have deicded i will happily live anywhere as long as i can have a home like this,  thats not to much to ask for is it?

  1. HEY! I'm so glad you found my blog. I always like to know what everyone is up to these days. And I love this house, it isn't too much to ask for either. It's all I really want. Just our cozy little cottage with a loud house of kids and possible a tire swing in the back yard. You guys seem to be doing good! Just busy little students like us. I can't wait til it's over. Bleh

  2. I am in love! I keep telling Brian that I will live anywhere with him as long as it can be on a lane all by myself with trees all around so I feel like i'm in a small town! haha

  3. I love this house...we must have similar taste :)
And by the way, you can have the best of both worlds in Downers Grove, Illinois. I promise there are adorable little houses like that in our neighborhood. Randy and I have always said one of the reasons we love it here so much is because Downers Grove has such a small town feel, yet it is not a small town and is super close to a really big really awesome city. I am a city girl. Randy's a small town guy. So its perfect for us... :)
Now if only it weren't so far away from both our families...
