ive been punked..
went to the dr. again today, im dilated to a 3 and 80%. not bad, not bad. when the dr. asked his assistant how far along i was she said 38 weeks and 4 days. really? when i went for my US 2 weeks ago the dr. said my due date was march 9th. which would have made me right at 38 weeks. i asked my dr. about it and he said they wont "officially" move my due date unless there is something wrong and we end up in a c-seciton. bummer, i now get to relive my 38 and 39th weeks again. fun! dr. didnt think id make it much longer, which sounds nice, but im not holding my breath... he'll come when he is ready i suppose! maybe my next post will have pictures of our sweet little man! cant wait to kiss on his chubby cheeks!

Oh my gosh! How annoying to find out you're not as far along as you thought. But you're so right...he'll come when he's ready probably. Hope next time I see pics of your little man.
ReplyDeletethat is so frustrating!! really excited for you guys-hang in there. those last few days seriously are so hard. and when you go full term like me its no fun at all!!
ReplyDeleteHow frustrating and annoying is right! Not holding your breath is smart.... never listen to a Dr. when they say "they'll be surprised if you make it much longer" My dr told me that at 36 weeks because i was dilated at a 2.5 and 70% and continued to dilate week by week. So i got my hopes up thinking I'll have my little one early but sure enough I made it to my 40 week check up and ended up getting induced the next day! Talk about a long month!! It was terrible!! Anyways... good luck!! I hope all goes well with your delivery and I can't wait to see the little guy!! :)
